"A Forbidden Love" by Mobius Paradox.
I wish you could feel how much I miss you. I wish you could know that I still love you. I wish you were here by my side. Your hand in mine. Our hearts beating as one.
Every moment without you, I feel like I'm dying. I shed no tears, no hope comes from crying. I look at the stars and I know you are, too. Hearts trying to be together. So far away.
No way to tell you how much I need you. A part of my soul lies dormant without you. This heart of mine is wasting away. Yearning for love. Thirsty for life.
I'm only alive because I'm waiting for you. I wish every day you were in my arms. Both of us loving without any cares. Finally free. Complete at last.
They say forbidden love only grows stronger. I know what that's like, for that is my life. I stay ever ready for opportunity's knock. To come and find you. To escape this hell.
I see in my heart our first moment together. A passionate embrace, lasting forever. Nobody stops us, nothing distracts us. From our first real kiss. Our first steps together.
I hold in my heart my memories of you. I'll never forget the love we shared. Every breath, every move, I do them for you. You're always in my mind. 'Cuz that's all I have.
An empty void tears through my soul. The loneliness overwhelms me when I think of you. If only we'd truly meet in our dreams. Our love in the aether. Until we wake up.
Until we're together, I'll always be hoping. No matter how many aeons I have to wait. The moment I live for: when our souls unite. I'll always be wishing. Loving you forever. |

So I'm sitting here, minding my own business, when I hear from the living room...
I RUN out to see if my guess [that PBS finally got sense knocked into it] was right.
No such luck. Dad just hit "Play" with the tape in at the beginning of Ep 2 of "Revelation of the Daleks."
::sigh:: The things I get excited about. |

Friday Five from misfitina
1. What is your favorite scary movie? Event Horizon. No question. Event Horizon and the Alien Legacy. 2. What is your favorite Halloween treat? Anything chocolate. And candy corns. 3. Do you dress up for Halloween? If so, describe your best Halloween costume. I do on occasion. I was once a Tinfoilian from planet Luminum. We made the suit out of thermal blankets and packing tape. I was also a Borg drone once. 4. Do you enjoy going to haunted houses or other spooky events? On occasion. i'd rather just host a dance. 5. Will you dress up for Halloween this year? I would if I had finished my scarf by now, but I still have 40 feet to go. 0.0;;; |

I realized this on the bus ride to the theatre- I love Boards of Canada's music because it is insanely unique. Each track is totally different than anything you might ever hear, and each track is totally unrelated to the other. It's an exercise in randomness, and you can't go by any set template. When one downloads a song/buys an album by Autechre, they pretty much know to expect trippy, chaotic percussiveness and blatant artificialism, but when you DL/buy BOC, you never quite know what you're going to get.
I love it! |

Gonna go see "Romeo and Juliet " tomorrow with most of the Sophomore class. Only thing that'd make it better is if it was the French musical.
But the trip is funded by American businesses, and most Americans don't give the French a second thought, so we'll settle for a college ensemble. It'll still be good.
I find I'm enjoying the theatre more and more, especially the musical theatre. On 11-6 [Day before my birthday, as luck would have it.] I'm going with the French club to see "The Phantom of the Opera" in New York after we visit Madame Tussaud's. It's gonna be fun.
And, one of these days, I've heard I MUST see Rocky Horror live. [ scix, Be proud that I'm blaming this on you.] |

Today was a good day. My grades are definitely MUCH better than they were at the beginning of the year. The English teacher enjoys showing us movies. [ST:V- Heroes and Demons, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Dragonheart.] The Theatre Arts teacher encourages insanity. [Thank God!]
Things are going well wiv the world.

You are Electronica! Living a life as active and colorful as the strobe lights of the dance floor, you are electronica. Your life is a party, or at least that's how you'd like it to be. Your main themes are energy, excitement, and playfulness. You figure: life is short. You only get one shot at it, so why waste it being miserable? You're mostly concerned with immediate pleasure and are very outgoing. Even when you're sad you seem to find a reason to smile. To many this trait is very pleasant, but to those inclined to bitterness it can seem obnoxious and annoying.

Today, mum called me and dad to the kitchen and handed us binoculars. There was a cat resting on the landing to my treehouse. I went outside and started a conversation with it. Mum came out and wondered whether or not it had an owner. To me, two things suggested that it didn't have an owner: 1] it had long claws, and 2] there was something on its neck that looked parasitic. If it was a tick, it was the biggest sucker I'd ever seen. Well, we fed it a packet of tuna and it went on its merry way. After it scratched mum for tickling its stomach, that is. |

mood: energetic music: Sasha an' Digweed- Enjoy the Silence

I burned a really nice mix CD to listen to when I'm on the treadmill, and I think it works really well! The beats are absolutely perfect for use on a programmable treadmill, and I've arranged it in such a way that the tempo works well for a gradual workout. [Speed up then slow down.] Here's a tracklist for you to work from.
SK Thriller- Rhubarb [Holy Ikon Mix]* Tangerine Dream- Rough Embrace Dave Ralph- Max Graham "Airtight" Sasha an' Digweed- Enjoy the Silence [Mobius' Cut] Tangerine Dream- Catwalk [Black Ink Mix] Astrorrey- 73Yips [4444armx]* Total Eclipse- Psychedelic Terrorist Serial Rate- On [Strings Mix]* Sasha an' Digweed- Immense Velocity [Mobius' Cut] Tangerine Dream- Firetongues [The Break Freak Mix] DJ Jynx- On [Rewired Groove Bootleg Mix]* Tangerine Dream- Sojus Sophie Ellis Bextor- Murder on the Dancefloor [Original Mix]
[*=Original song by Aphex Twin, remix listed available for free download at www.aphextwin.nu]
I used it today and I feel really energetic now!
Another accomplishment: There is now a 3'x3' grid on the floor of the sunroom for when I'm in a dancing mood. I always dance in a freestyle DDR fashion, and it's usually in a place where there are floor tiles, but in the sunroom, it's only unpatterened industrial-strength carpet. Yanno, I really should ask for a mini-dancefloor to be put in there. The only room in the house with a hardwood floor is the living room, and there's not enough room in there to dance well.
Anyway...
I really wish there was an under-21 dance club around here. I'd rather dance than treadmill. Oh, well.
I am losing weight. I do look a tad trimmer. If I keep up the exercise, I'll prolly be nice and lean sometime soon. It'll prolly do wonders for my self-esteem, and I'll be able to wear cool clothes like Nick and Moreau. |

Yanno, this is the first time I've felt relaxed in quite a while. I think it's the music. It has the same sedative properties as To Rococo Rot and a good cup of tea, yet it's uplifting as well.
That's what I like so much about IDM. It's so versatile! |
